The World Bank will help Belarus develop the Roadmap for the National Paperless Trade System. The matter was discussed at a meeting of the WB group of experts at the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry on 14 September.
The parties discussed three major projects implemented with the assistance of WB specialists. These include the Roadmap for the National Paperless Trade System of Belarus, consultations on Belarus’ digital skills development and the broadband communication development program.
The WB representatives emphasized the importance of cooperation with Belarus in the development of e-government.
On 14 September Minsk is set to host a regional seminar entitled Digital Economy: Digital Trade and Digital Skills. This will be the final event to discuss the reports worked out under the WB technical assistance projects ICT Strategy Support for Belarus and ICT Industry Development in Belarus.
