Uzbekistan’s GDP grew 4.9% year on year in the first half of 2018 amounting to 153 trillion soums, according to the Uzbek parliament.
The GDP per capita amounted to 4.65 million soums growing by 3.1% year on year.
Industrial output grew 6.1%, agricultural output – 2.7%, construction – 9.7%, services – 5%.
“The state budget was implemented in accordance with the approved parameters with a surplus of 0.1% to GDP,” the parliament meeting noted.
