In particular, the General Electric and Uzbekenergo intend to expand cooperation in the energy sector. The Genaral Electric and Uzbekenergo signed agreements during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyeva to the United States. The General Electric was the main supplier of equipment for the 370 MW CCGT unit at the Tashkent thermal power plant. Currently, the GE works with Hyundai Engineering to build two 230-280 MW CCGT units at the Takhiatash TPP.
