On 19 February 2019, representatives of Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Asaka” held a meeting with the President of the Export Credit Agency of Switzerland SERV Peter Gizler in in Zurich, Switzerland.
Insurance and guarantees of SERV protect Swiss exporters from non-payment risks and stimulate the country’s export potential. SERV insurance policies also help Swiss companies to get loans at lower interest rates, as well as higher credit limits to save money when exporting goods and services.
SERV is a state-owned insurance company established to promote Swiss foreign trade and economic cooperation by promoting the export of Swiss goods, technologies and services, especially high-tech and high-yield capital goods, and also promotes foreign investments by national companies by insuring export credits and non-payment risks.
SERV covers all Swiss exporters in medium-term and long-term projects related to the export of high technology, especially in the textile industry.
During this meeting, prospects for the development of trade relations and economic cooperation between the Swiss Confederation and the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed. In particular, the planned deals on financing and insurance of projects involving the supply of technological equipment from Switzerland to Uzbekistan were discussed.
A cooperation agreement has been concluded between Asaka Bank and SERV in order to provide insurance coverage on financing attracted by the bank from foreign banks and international financial institutions.
