US Deputy Trade Representative Jeffrey D. Gerrish said US investors are interested in the investment opportunities of the Republic of Moldova. The statement was made at a meeting that the official had in the USA with Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Chiril Gaburici.
Jeffrey D. Gerrish reiterated the United States’ willingness to promote reforms and boost trade relations with our country.
According to a press release by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the officials also discussed boosting the USA-Moldova Strategic Dialogue through activation of joint working groups, notably initiating the organization of the 3rd meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation over the year.
The meeting took place in the context of a working visit to the United States by the Moldovan delegation headed by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, on 24-26 June.
