US-based software quality company acquires Ukrainian QA services firm

QA Mentor, Inc., a New York-based software quality assurance and testing services provider, announced last week the acquisition of TestMatick, a privately held software testing company in the Ukraine, with headquarters in Cherkassy. Founder and CEO of QA Mentor, Inc. Ruslan Desyatnikov said “this acquisition will help QA Mentor, Inc. strengthen its position in the European region and win many more clients from Eastern and Western Europe due to proximity and the time zone operations of our new Ukrainian extended team. With this acquisition, our number of employees increased to over 250 and we will continue our expansion and growth through acquisition strategy”. Founded in 2010, QA Mentor operates in eight different countries and offers over 30 QA testing services. The company’s expansion strategy aims to increase its presence globally.

TestMatick, which offers more than 20 types of QA services, has expertise in a number of domains, including finance, banking and ecommerce. Iryna Chernenko, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of TestMatick, said “we are very happy to be part of the QA Mentor global organization. Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed by company officials.
