US-based John Deer and Wilson Elser companies interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov met with Chairman of the US-Kyrgyz Business Council, Thomas Firestone, during his working visit to the United States.

During the meeting, attended by representatives of John Deer and Wilson Elser compnies, Kubatbek Boronov told about reforms in the economic, tax and other spheres conducted by the Kyrgyz Government, fight against corruption, and creating a favorable investment climate in the country.

In turn, Thomas Firestone told about the activities of the US-Kyrgyz Business Council since its established in 2016, and also shared his views on the work of the Council for the near future.

Representatives of John Deer and Wilson Elser American companies expressed their interest in establishing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to make efforts to further intensify cooperation between the government and the US-Kyrgyz Business Council, arrange a visit of its representatives and other American companies to the republic, and hold the second meeting of the Kyrgyz-American Business Forum in Bishkek in the first half of 2019.
