Armenian Economic Development and Investments Minister Tigran Khachatryan and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy discussed Tuesday prospects for deepening economic relations between the two countries.
The U.S. ambassador said she is glad to discuss the economic relationship development prospects with the minister, and Khachatryan, on his side, said that not only agenda issues, but also the United States’ assistance for implementation of important reforms were discussed at the meeting.
The minister presented the Armenian government’s priorities to the guests.
“In the program, we put special emphasis on the quality of economic growth, which should touch a great number of people,” he said.
The parties exchanged opinions of attraction of new investments, development of foreign trade ties and improvement of business environment.
