The Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan launch implementing new projects in the country.
Melek Cakmak, the head of the FAO representative office in Azerbaijan, has stated that the total cost of the projects is $4 million.
“Signing of the agreements on the beginning of projects in the field of animal husbandry, artificial insemination and potato seed production is scheduled for next month. Besides, a project is planned on increase of youth employment in the agricultural sector in districts of Azerbaijan,” Cakmak emphasized.
