Ukrainian exports to Poland grew by 30% in H1 2018

In the first half of 2018, Ukrainian exports of goods and services to Poland grew by 30.5% and amounted to $1.7 billion.

The Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine wrote this on its Facebook page.

“In the first six months of 2018, the structure of Ukrainian exports of goods was as follows: ferrous metals – 15.1%, electric machinery – 12.5%, ores, slag and ash – 12.4%, furniture – 7.3%,” reads the report.

According to the ministry, in 2017, Poland ranked second in terms of bilateral trade in goods among Ukraine’s trade partners in Europe after Germany with a share of 15.1%.

As reported, the XXVIII Economic Forum kicks off in Krynica-Zdroj (Poland) today, September 4. The Ukrainian delegation, headed by Vice Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, will take part in the three-day forum.
