Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman took part in the Ukrainian-Canadian round table on cooperation in the aerospace sphere, at which he proposed joint projects in aircraft building and space exploration, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has reported. “Ukraine offers Canada to combine efforts to implement a number of projects in the aerospace industry, including aircraft and satellite building, the creation of a platform for space launches,” Groysman said.
Speaking at the meeting, he stressed Ukraine has good aviation and space traditions, which should be preserved and multiplied. At the same time, the head of government noted difficulties in preserving the technology sector, especially in the context of the hybrid war and “the actual loss of aviation markets that have been traditional for Ukraine.”
“Ukraine and Canada have great opportunities that we can use in the aerospace sphere. Ukraine is a space state, we have a wonderful experience, a science that can be very useful at this stage of our cooperation. Our experience, combined with the experience of Canadian partners, can take effect. We can start a new page in building our relations, and we want to be reliable partners,” Groysman said.
