Ukraine-Slovenia trade turnover increased by 31% in 2017

A trade volume between Ukraine and Slovenia increased by 31% in 2017.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this during a joint press conference with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor in Kyiv.

“In 20107, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Slovenia increased by 31%,” the head of state said.

According to him, the growth became possible due to a deep and comprehensive free trade zone.

Poroshenko also says that Slovenian business actively invests in Ukraine, participates in tenders and wins them, in particular those announced by municipalities.

The head of state stresses that the intensity of bilateral contacts between Ukraine and Slovenia is “unprecedentedly high” now.

The president also thanks Slovenia for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence.
