State Enterprise National Energy Company Ukrenergo and Moldova’s State Enterprise Moldelectrica will coordinate actions to integrate their power systems with ENTSO-E (the European Network of Transmission System Operators), Ukrenergo website reports.
“The agreement on this was achieved following the results of a working meeting between representatives of SE National Energy Company Ukrenergo with the delegation of Moldovan colleagues from SE Moldelectrica, which was held in Kyiv on November 15. The parties reaffirmed their intention to ensure coordinated actions to implement measures aimed at ensuring the integration of power systems of the two countries with ENTSO-E,” reads the report.
In particular, an agreement has been reached to set up a joint technical working group to develop coordinated actions to implement synchronization actions in the areas of activity (market and cross-border flows, operation and supervisory control of the energy system, network development, telecommunications infrastructure and IT).
