Ukraine to launch 4G connection

4G-network is now working in Ukraine. As of Friday, 10 a.m., it works in 20 Ukrainian cities and will be spreading on all over the country.

Network operators Vodafone and Lifecell reported this in the morning. Vodafone, for one, claimed that the network is functioning in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Odesa.

The network coverage should appear in other cities by the end of the day, the providers say.

A user only needs a SIM card and a smartphone supporting the 4G/LTE technology.
