“I and Vice-President of the European Commission Maros Sefcovic discuss further work in the energy sector. In recent years, our cooperation has acquired a new meaning, and today [the energy issues are] one of the leading directions of negotiations. We have something to offer European partners, we have something to discuss,” said Groysman.
According to him, the main talking points are co-financing of the Energy Efficiency Fund, unification of the energy systems, modernization of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, further reform of the Naftogaz of Ukraine and discussion of the idea to transform the network of Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities into an Eastern European gas hub.
