Ukraine deepens cooperation with OECD

Ukraine has signed an agreement on deepening cooperation with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.

“On June 15, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv and Deputy Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Mari Kiviniemi signed the agreement, which extended the memorandum of understanding on deepening cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the OECD,” the report reads.

According to Kubiv, Ukraine highly appreciates cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, because it receives significant expert support for the implementation of the most ambitious tasks in key areas of reforms, including fighting corruption, reform of public administration and the rule of law, investment sector and business climate improvement.

Kubiv notes that cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development is an important tool for assessing the competitive advantages of the national economy of Ukraine.
