Turkmenistan intends to extend cooperation with Boeing

On 30 September, within the framework of his visit to the US, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov met with Bryan Lopp, director of international operations at Boeing.

During the meeting the President reminded that Turkmenistan intends to purchase several Boeing 737 MAX 7 aircraft.

Then the meeting with Markwart von Pentz, President of John Deere Agriculture & Turf Division was held.

Pentz discussed extending collaboration due to supply of state-of-the-art grain and cotton harvesting combine harvesters, tractors and various agricultural equipment.

The state information agency TDH reported that “the head of the state emphasized that the use of innovation digital technologies which allow increasing the crop yield is the prospective area of the agricultural development”.

The President also met with Executive Director of Turkmenistan – USA Business Council Eric Stuart.

Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov also met with William I. Koch, Chairman of the Board of  Oxbow Group to discuss opportunities for partnership in the fuel and energy sector.

Oxbow Group is the company special zing in processing by-products of oil and gas refining.
