The World Bank launches implementation of the third phase of the Azerbaijani project of agricultural investments. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan reports that the project has been presented in the ministry today.
“The project plays an important role in ensuring overall development of Azerbaijan’s rural areas. The works implemented as part of the project strengthen the positive tendencies on the labor market and create new opportunities for employment of labor resources,” WB country manager for Azerbaijan Naveed Hassan Naqvi said during the presentation.
On his part, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Labor and Social Protection Salim Muslimov noted that these projects are especially important for improvement of social infrastructure in rural areas, ensuring economic activeness of families and support of employment.
