The Universal Postal Union (UPU) will provide $841.7 thousand to finance three projects of Ukrposhta PJSC on mail traffic improvement, Ukrposhta’s press service reports. In the framework of the projects, $458 thousand will be allocated for the purchase of 10 autotrucks with carrying capacity of 4-6 tons, $216,5 thousand – for the purchase of x-ray checking installation and video surveillance systems in the offices in Kiev and Lviv. Additional $167.2 thousand will be spent on wireless scanners, thermal printers, roller and belt conveyors, racks and other equipment to improve the handling and sorting of international shipments. “Ukrposhta” will hold a tender for the allocation of funds.
