On March 28 StrategEast held a presentation of “The Billion in the Distance: Central Asian IT Exports and Strategies for Growing Them” report at the MOST HUB Almaty of Kazakhstan for donors, global development agencies, international financial institutions, and local IT export-focused product companies.
The stellar panel included Robert Parker, Trade Team Leader, Economic Development Office, USAID Central Asia; Alim Khamitov, Managing Partner, MOST Ventures; Aichurok Mederbek kyzy, Manager of Acceleration Programs, Business Incubator MOST; and Rovshan Rahimov, Regional Director for Central Asia and Eastern Europe at StrategEast.
The key findings presentation was followed by active discussions, questions, and opinion exchange on how to foster the IT industry development in Kazakhstan and broader Central Asia.
