The StrategEast Westernization Index 2022 assesses the processes of adherence to the Western values in post-Soviet countries outside of Russia across five dimensions – political, legal, economic, cultural, and lifestyle.
The third edition of this Index reveals a dynamic picture of Westernization in the 14 post-Soviet countries outside of Russia. The study shows trends in political, economic, legal, cultural and lifestyle Westernization, and by extension, the effectiveness of efforts by Western institutions operating in the region.
