On April 11 Startup Grind’s Global Conference 2023 kicked off in Redwood city, California, bringing together startups, VC funds and policymakers from all over the world. The conference was attended by StrategEast president Anatoly Motkin and StrategEast CSO Michael Sheitelman. At the conference StrategEast representatives reached agreements with Silicon Valley mentors on their participation in StrategEast training programs in Eurasia, as well as on joint work with Californian VC funds to attract investments in startups in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
The StrategEast delegation took part in a side event organized by Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco. Here there was a discussion of the development of the Ukrainian startup ecosystem and especially promising projects in the field of artificial intelligence. As part of the side event, there were also pitches of 10 Ukrainian startups for investors from Silicon Valley.
