During his visit to Tajikistan, Anatoly Motkin met with Smart City Dushanbe representatives – Sadi Samadzod, director; Farhod Boboev, deputy director and Hasan Khorkashov, head of the international relations department.
The meeting agenda included StartegEast’s support for an IT park opening in Tajikistan. The corresponding memorandum is to be signed soon.
In particular, StartegEast will act to attract international IT companies to join as a Park residents.
In addition, StrategEast will collaborate on enhancing Tajikistan’s IT capacity, startups acceleration and international Big Tech companies attraction to the country.
Earlier, StrategEast assisted the government of Tajikistan on developing the IT parks legislation and held a webinar on how to create an inclusive High-Tech Park and its impact on the economic development of Tajikistan.
