On April 25th StrategEast President Anatoly Motkin, and StrategEast CEO, Amb. Michael Brodsky presented the Center’s Westernization Report 2019 at the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development (CIPDD) in Tbilisi.
In this presentation joined by Ghia Nodia, CIPDD Chairman, StrategEast’s leadership discussed the most important political and economic events which occurred in Eurasian and Baltic countries in 2018 and which might affect their degree of Westernization. It was a good opportunity to discuss the current challenges of further progression of post-Soviet countries towards Western values.
The Westernization Report 2019, issued by StrategEast highlights the most important political and economic events in Eurasian and Baltic states which occurred in 2018 and which might affect their level of Westernization. The aim of the Report is to better address the shared challenges these countries face in the process of re-building their states and institutions since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development (CIPDD) is a public policy think-tank, specialized in a broad area of democracy development. CIPDD was founded in 1992 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
