Aisuluu Kozhomkulova, Regional Director at StrategEast, emphasized the significance of this development, highlighting the favorable conditions provided by the IT Park in Uzbekistan and the country’s strides in ICT development and infrastructure. “The entrance of Sigma Software into Uzbekistan will not only create job opportunities but also enhance the country’s technological capabilities,” she noted. “With other prominent IT software companies such as EPAM already in the market, Sigma Software’s presence further solidifies Uzbekistan’s position as a burgeoning hub for IT innovation and development.”

We believe that our innovative solutions and commitment to quality will positively impact the local economy by creating jobs and fostering a culture of technological excellence. The MoU outlines several key areas of cooperation, including job creation, market expansion, and the development of educational programs. Both parties will work together to establish and nurture partnerships with local and international stakeholders, support each other in expanding into new markets, and develop educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of local students and professionals. One of the notable initiatives is the launch of Sigma University in Uzbekistan, aimed at providing high-quality education and training in IT and related fields.

This partnership is a strategic move to support the ongoing development of Uzbekistan’s ICT sector. With a growing emphasis on technology and infrastructure development, the collaboration between StrategEast and Sigma Software is poised to create a sustainable and innovative technological ecosystem in the country.
