On September 11, Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast, and Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for Caucasus at StrategEast held a series of meetings with regional derictors of international financial institutions.
During the meetings with Alkis Drakinos, Regional Head of the Caucasus for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Rolande Pryce, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, the parties discussed the prospects for IT sector development in the Caucasus region and extension of institutional partnership.
It was emphasized that IT is an important sector of the economy providing equal opportunities and introducing more transparency and accountability.
