On February 10, StrategEast hosted a webinar introducing the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub for Georgia and Azerbaijan. The event aimed to provide startups, tech companies, universities, and ecosystem enablers with insights into the program’s exclusive resources, mentorship opportunities, and financial support. The webinar was organized in partnership with the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA).
The webinar was opened by Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast. She emphasized the StrategEast’s support for the digital transformation in the Caucasus region by fostering collaborations between global tech companies and local stakeholders. The keynote speaker, Adrian Gheorghe, Partner Development Advisor at Microsoft Startups Founders Hub, shared an in-depth overview of the Founders Hub, highlighting its benefits, success stories, and how startups in Georgia and Azerbaijan can leverage the platform to accelerate their growth.
The event attracted 50 startup founders, representatives from IT companies, universities, and ecosystem enablers, fostering discussions on the challenges and opportunities within the region’s digital economy.
