On February 28, StrategEast held a presentation of the Westernization Report 2019 at the British Parliament. During the presentation Founder and President of StrategEast Anatoly Motkin and CEO Michael Brodsky discussed the most important political and economic events which occurred in 14 post-Soviet countries (excluding Russia ) in 2018 and which might affect their degree of Westernization. Among these were a peaceful revolution in Armenia, the transition of Kazakhstan to the Latin alphabet, blockchain innovations in Lithuania, and a major tax reform in Uzbekistan.
The StrategEast Westernization Report 2019 aims to better address the shared challenges these countries face in the process of re-building their states and institutions since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
