StrategEast and EPAM IT HUB that has been opened on February 22 in High Tech Park Tbilisi, has been relaunched on May 11 with an updated training format. Now training in the most popular IT specialties will take place online in one-to-one format.
Each IT HUB student will have a personal instructor from EPAM Systems. The updated training format in the IT HUB will allow the educational center to work even during lockdown. Georgian students can not only acquire one of the IT specialties remotely, but also find their first job without leaving home.
“We are pleased that even in such a difficult time when people lose their jobs, our new training format allows Georgian youth to get a new specialty and then find a new job without leaving their homes,” said Vadim Zelenkov, EPAM Director, Training and Development.
The main goal of IT HUB Tbilisi is to increase the number of qualified personnel in the IT field, create high-paying jobs, expand the capabilities of technological entrepreneurship, attract foreign direct investment, and export IT services.
The training program is conducted according to the world standards by the best EPAM teachers and provide graduates with the opportunity to receive highly paid work in the IT field upon graduation.
The five professions that are been taught at the center are – front-end developer, ASP.NET developer, JAVA developer, Android app developer, and QA engineer.
IT HUB was opened by StrategEast Georgia and EPAM Systems in collaboration with GITA and BTU University (Georgia).
