StrategEast is thrilled to announce a strategic collaboration with Oracle Academy, the global educational arm of Oracle Corporation, to propel IT industry-oriented education in Ukraine to new heights. This groundbreaking partnership, known as the StrategEast IT HUB & Oracle Academy initiative, is set to enable faculty, staff, and students across Ukraine to enhance their digital skills and knowledge.
The primary purpose of this collaboration is to facilitate the development of IT industry-focused education, thereby supporting faculties, staff, and students in Ukraine as they embark on their journey towards digital transformation in education. The “StrategEast IT HUB & Oracle Academy” collaboration is designed to offer free self-study training opportunities to university faculty staff, including lecturers and educators. These educators will have access to Oracle Academy’s rich educational materials, allowing them to integrate cutting-edge technology content into their existing courses. The direct beneficiaries of this integration will be the students, who will be equipped with the skills necessary to excel in today’s competitive ICT job market.
In this collaboration, StrategEast’s role encompasses facilitating interaction between Oracle Academy and Ukrainian educational institutions, coordinating faculty engagement, aligning with local digital education initiatives, and cultivating key relationships. Oracle Academy, on the other hand, will provide cloud services, an innovative curriculum, access to its Member Hub, and support corporate social responsibility initiatives.
StrategEast and Oracle Academy will collaborate closely to align Oracle Academy’s curricula with the study programs of designated higher education institutions. The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) leveling table of Oracle Academy’s curricula will also be shared with these institutions to ensure seamless integration.
The “StrategEast IT HUB & Oracle Academy” program is tailored to elevate the teaching skills and expertise of professors. By upskilling faculty members and granting them access to global market technologies, this initiative aims to bring about immediate positive impacts on students’ education.
As the initial pilot project in Ukraine takes shape, it serves as a stepping stone for expanding the Oracle Academy – StrategEast collaboration to other countries. The following nations are potential candidates for inclusion in this transformative educational initiative: Ukraine (the pilot project country), Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan.
