In a collaborative effort, StrategEast in partnership with the Kyrgyz Software and Services Developers’ Association (KSSDA), hosted the fifth qaurterly Donors’ Coordination Meeting at the KSSDA office in Bishkek. The gathering, attended by over fifteen participants, focused on exploring collaboration opportunities to advance the growth of the tech ecosystem in Kyrgyzstan. The collaboration showcased the commitment of various stakeholders to the growth and sustainability of Kyrgyzstan’s technology ecosystem.
The meeting’s agenda included welcome remarks by Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast, and Azamat Burzhuev, Head of Digitalization Department, Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Presentation of High Technology Park initiatives by conducted by Chubak Temirov, Deputy Director. Overview of 2024 activities and Initiatives voiced by Aiperi Nogoibaeva, Executive Director of KSSDA. EBRD Projects on E-Government were commented by Mirgul Umetalieva, Associate Counsellor, EBRD Kyrgyzstan; World Bank Projects on E-Government by Madina Tagaeva, Consultant at World Bank Group.
Notable participants included representatives from the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Palladium, USAID’s Future Growth Initiative, the World Bank, EBRD, US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, JICA Kyrgyzstan, Accelerate Prosperity, Digital CASA – Kyrgyzstan, Delegation of the European Union, and the High Technology Park of Kyrgyz Republic.
