StrategEast Activity Report 2020 summarizes our activities since the end of 2019.
The Report covers two recent projects of great importance to the Eurasian Region: the inaugural StrategEast State and IT Eurasian Forum, which was held in Kyiv, Ukraine, and the launch of the StrategEast EPAM IT HUB project in Tbilisi.
In 2020, StrategEast has issued its second Westernization Index. The new edition provides a unique opportunity to track progress in the processes of westernization of Eurasian and Baltic countries quantitatively.
Amid the times of pandemic, the center focused its activities on topical analytical research, releasing “Innovative Ukraine”, “Changing Economy—Changing Society”, “IT Industry in Eurasian Countries”, and “Civil Society’s Response to COVID-19 in Eurasia” reports.
Furthermore, the series of the online public events with the global thought leaders were organized to discuss the digital solutions assisting to combat the pandemic and how COVID-19 is reshaping the economy and labor market in Eurasian countries.
The Activity Report also outlines the plans of the organization for the upcoming period.
