Moldova’s Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, and Ambassador of Slovakia to Moldova, Dušan Dacho, discussed current topics on the Moldovan – Slovak agenda February, 14. The officials highlighted the advanced level of bilateral relations and importance of continuing to maintain an active dialogue, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The Prime Minister appreciated the constant support given by Slovakia in promoting reforms and advancing Moldova on the path of European integration. Also, Pavel Filip mentioned that the authorities have relied on supporting the Slovak part and ensuring visibility of progress made by executive.
Related to it, the PM referred to measures undertaken by Government over the recent two years to ensure stability in society and regain foreign partners’ confidence. The Head of the Executive reviewed the key reforms made during this period and priorities for 2018, specifying that Association Agreements with EU remain at the heart of agenda of the government.
At his turn, Ambassador, Dušan Dacho, confirmed desire of the Slovak side to further support the European project of Moldova. The diplomat has also voiced his interest in boosting economic relations and developing trade between Moldova and Slovakia.
The officials also exchanged views on development projects carried out in Moldova with the support of Slovakia. Moldova is included in the list of the first three states benefiting from financial and technical assistance from the authorities in Bratislava.
