Polish venture capital firm bValue opens a third fund with a capitalization of about $14 million. This time the investment region will cover not only Poland, but also Ukraine, as well as other countries of Central and Eastern Europe: Belarus, the Baltic states, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria. The fund already has its representatives, including in Ukraine.
The fund is planning to invest €100k+ in early stage startups and €1M+ in more mature startups. The primary focus of the fund is technology startups with global ambitions.
It should be reminded that according to UVCA, bValue became one of the most active investors in Ukraine in 2019. The bValue fund has become the first major investor of the Ukrainian-Polish startup CallPage.
