Natia Turnava, Minister of Economy of Georgia awarded Economic Westernization Award

Natia Turnava, has been awarded the Economic Westernization Award for special tax regime for IT companies and contribution to the IT industry development in Georgia.

The award handover ceremony was held on March, 30 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

During the meeting, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava, StrategEast president Anatoly Motkin, and Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable development of Georgia Irakli Nadareishvili discussed prospects of IT industry development in the country.

StrategEast Westernization Award was established in 2018 and is awarded to emphasize the significant contributions of politicians, business representatives, and civil activists in creating closer ties between this region and the Western World. It is presented in 6 categories: Economic Westernization, Political Westernization, Legal Westernization, Westernization of Lifestyle, Language and Culture Westernization, and Lifetime Achievement.
