Companies from the United States are to come to Chisinau on 11-12 April to participate in a Forum. This topic has been the focus of a discussion between Economics and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici and U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Dereck J. Hogan.
At the Forum, American companies will establish potential partnerships with companies from Moldova in such sectors like infrastructure, agro-business, energy, Information Technologies, and Communications.
On the first day of the event, the government’s representatives are to make the country and sectoral presentations on important strategic fields: infrastructure, business environment, facilities in the IT sector, investment potential in tourism. The B2B session will take on the second day, during which native companies will establish direct contacts with partners from the USA.
„Moldova – United States Forum will provide to entrepreneurs from our country occasion to understand the process of doing business with the USA and the attraction of foreign investments. On the other hand, American business people will know better the fiscal and investment facilities of Moldova and the strategic sectors,” Chiril Gaburici said.
Ambassador Dereck J. Hogan noted that the event was a good opportunity for the best success people from the USA to go to Moldovan universities, in order to share their experience in the fields of business, investments, innovation.
Moldova – United States Forum is organized by the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry, Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassies from Moldova, Romania and Ukraine, Association of Business People from Moldova, Chamber of Trade and Industry of Moldova, Investments Attraction Agency and the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova.
