Moldova to discuss economic cooperation aspects with EU

Pavel Filip, the Prime Minister of Moldova will pay a visit to Brussels, between May 2 and 6, 2018, at the fourth reunion of the Association Council of the Republic of Moldova and the European Union.

Within the reunion, there will be discussed the progresses registered in the Republic of Moldova after implementing the Association Agreement, the reforms in justice, among which the fight against corruption, developing the affairs sphere and supporting the civil society.

Also, the Council will discuss the evolution within the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone and the economic cooperation aspects between the Republic of Moldova and the EU.

Pavel Filip will hold meetings with European officials, among which, Federica Mogherini, the EU representative for Foreign politics and security, the European commissioner for European politics and neighborhood, Johannes Hahn, the European commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Pierre Moscovici, Taxes and Customs and Donald Tusk, the President of the European Council.

The discussions will be based on the results gained by the Government in order to develop the reforms and the priorities of our country for the next period.
