Director of Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru), Viorel Jardan, and Deputy Head of Slovakian Senec – Pezinok Regional Development Agency, Eva Lovasikova, signed on 05 June the second Additional Protocol to Memorandum of understanding and cooperation of institutions. The document foresees extension of bilateral relations for three years.
Viorel Jardan thanked Slovak partners for their support for regional projects over recent six years and expressed conviction that in perspectives, the Moldovan – Slovak cooperation will generate other joint success activities.
At her part, Eva Lovasikova has pointed out relations of two regional development agencies have continuity, because Moldovan colleagues have proved to be reliable partners.
The Memorandum of understanding and cooperation with ADR Senec-Pezinok, Bratislava Region (Slovakia) was signed by ADR Centru in April 2012. Its aim is to improve and intensify cooperation between parties in areas such as: joint planning, implementation of programmes and projects of regional development in Moldova, strengthening institutional capacities in regional development, expertise and know – how in implementation of programmes financed by EU for Moldova. The first Additional Protocol to that Memorandum was signed by institutions in June 2016.
Also on 05 June, it was held final conference at District Council of Ialoveni within project “Bardar water supply pipeline – access to healthy drinking water, improvement of public healthcare and sustainable administration of water supply system” implemented by ADR Centru by support of Slovak partners. Due to support of the Slovak Government, it was built 2.2 km of main water pipeline for Bardar locality in Ialoveni district.
