The fourth meeting of the Kazakh-British intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation was held in London.
Delegations were headed by the Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek and the UK Minister of International Trade Mark Garnier, said the press service of the Ministry for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan.
Following the meeting, the parties signed 1 intergovernmental and 2 commercial agreements in innovations and technologies.
The sides also reviewed the implementation of the agreements reached during the third meeting of the commission in London in November 2016.
The officials also highlighted prospective areas of cooperation between the countries – innovations and technologies, subsoil use, vocational education, nuclear power, and PPP (public-private partnership) projects.
In addition, Kasymbek had a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of British companies.
