Republic of Moldova for 2019-2024 period. The project is worth 40 million USD. The decision was taken at the request of Stela Stingaci, the Republic of Moldova Ambassador to Italy, within the 124th session of FIDA Executive Council.
FIDA Council approved the new program that provides the funding of many projects worth 40 million USD.
Since the beginning of its activity in the Republic of Moldova in 1999, FIDA supported 7 major programs worth over $ 120 million, benefiting more than 135,000 people in rural areas. The Republic of Moldova is among the top ten in terms of the efficiency of implementing FIDA projects among the 113 beneficiary states.
