Germany allocates an additional humanitarian assistance in the amount of 1 million euros to Ukraine under the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The aid is provided in the framework of the project “Protection and Assistance to Internally Displaced and Other Vulnerable Persons Who Suffer from the Crisis in Ukraine”. The project is directly aimed at that part of the population that is suffering from the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
