French Crédit Agricole provides Uzbekistan with 300 million euros to finance investment projects

The National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a loan agreement with the bank Crédit Agricole S.A. for 300 million euros.

The document was signed on 5 October 2018 in Paris within the framework of the Uzbek-French Business Forum and on the eve of the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France.

The credit line of the Bank Credit Agricole S.A is attracted without a state guarantee.

The funds of the French bank will be used to finance investment projects in Uzbekistan under insurance coverage of export credit agencies.

Credit Agricole S.A. is also ready to offer trade finance services for the supply of equipment and technology from France and other European countries.

Credit Agricole S.A. will provide advisory services to assist Uzbek entrepreneurs in building relationships with French businesses.
