French President Emmanuel Macron signed into law a bill allowing the ratification of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Armenia and the European Union, Armenian ambassador to France, Hasmik Tolmajyan, wrote in a Facebook post.
This bill was adopted by the French Senate on December 19 this year. CEPA was signed on November 24, 2017 and ratified by the Armenian parliament on April 11, 2018. Armenia became the first EEU member country to sign CEPA with the EU.
Of the 28 EU member countries, CEPA was ratified by Germany, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Poland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Malta, Romania, the United Kingdom, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, Ireland, Cyprus and Belgium.
