EU to provide €0.5 million for new business support project in Moldova

The companies or individuals wishing to start  affairs in Gagauzia will be eligible for development grants under a project funded by EU. The programme budget is €500 thousand.

According to the First Deputy Governor of Gagauz Autonomy, Vadim Ceban, this is EU project: Supporting local authorities in Gagauzia.

“The programme provides 25 grants, amounting €10 – €25 thousand each. The potential beneficiaries are small and medium – sized enterprises, as well as start – ups which are active for a year or two, have interesting business ideas and desire to implement them,” said Vadim Ceban, quoted by gagauzinfo.md.

Under terms of project, European grant will cover 80 per cent of investment and rest of money must have enterprise wishing to apply for programme.

On 14 – 16 May, there will be held seminars in Comrat, Ceadar – Lunga and Vulcanesti on opportunities and process of programme implementing. The deadline for submission of folders is 31 May 2018. The project participants must be registered in Gagauzia territory, and in case of winning, they can also here benefit from grant.
