The European Union is ready to provide Kyrgyzstan 10 million euros for implementation of the Taza Suu project, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belgium Asein Isayev said.
The EU is setting up a trust fund and decided to give 10 million euros for Taza Suu. The money will start being used the next year, he said.
Isayev noted that 10 million euros are not enough for the project, and other institutions will be attracted, too.
“Negotiations are under way with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and other world financial organizations. We need about 300 million euros for the whole project,” he said.
