On 15 and 16 May, two experts from France will visit Moldova to provide a gap analysis of the country’s current air operations legislation and the European Commission Regulation related to air operations, with a view to implementing the regulation.
They will meet with colleagues from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova to present relevant EU and French legislation and requirements for air operations. The focus of the expert mission will be on authority requirements and air operator certificates.
The study visit is being organised by the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX), in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova.
TAIEX is a demand-driven tool that supports partner countries with the adaptation of national laws, regulations and quality standards to match those of EU Member States in the framework of Cooperation or Association Agreements signed with the EU. In the Eastern Neighbourhood, TAIEX works with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
