The EU will allocate 17 million Euros to support science and innovations in Ukraine. The EU Delegation in Kyiv reported that on Tuesday afternoon.
’83 Ukrainian organizations will get 17.2 million Euros for implementation of their projects. There are high schools, research foundations and private sector representatives,’ the message says.
In general, the EU office considered 915 appeals from Ukraine. The European diplomatic entity added that Ukraine has much bigger potential. ‘The country should carry on with the reforms of environment for the cooperation of Ukrainian scientific and production entities with their EU partners, as well as other participant countries of Horizon 2020,’ the EU office said.
Ukraine joined the EU program Horizon 2020 in March 2015. Since then, Ukrainian organizations have been participating in the programs on the same conditions that EU member countries and other associated members do.
