The European Investment Bank plans to provide $400 million loan to Uzbekistan, Vice-President Vazil Hudák said at a meeting with the Government members of Uzbekistan, the State Investment Committee reported.
One of the priority areas of cooperation, they said, is energy and management in agricultural sphere.
The EIB and Uzbekistan signed a framework agreement, which determines the legal basis of the activities of the Bank in the country in 2017.
The delegation of the EIB arrived in Uzbekistan on May 21. It held talks in the Parliament and ministries of the country.
