Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev today met with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development First Vice President Jürgen Rigterink, prime minister’s press service said.
The sides discussed current and future projects in mining, municipal and transport infrastructure, development of green economy, renewable energy, improvement of global competitiveness of Kazakhstan and other sectors.
EBRD has financed 240 project for 7.3 billion Euros for 20 years. The agreements on 25 new projects for more than $700 million were signed in 2017.
The current portfolio of EBRD projects in Kyrgyzstan includes 118 projects for 3.1 billion Euros.
