EBRD plans to allocate $129 million for infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan

President Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with Director for Central Asia of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Mr Neil McKain on Dec 11.

McKain briefed Jeenbekov on EBRD’s intention to launch multiple new irrigation and water supply projects in Kyrgyzstan in 2019.

The Bank plans to allocate $129 million for the future infrastructure projects.

Jeenbekov pointed out that the joint projects are crucial for the economy of the country, creation of new jobs, improvement of life conditions of the population.
